What a fabulous holiday we spent at Chia Village. We were so tired with a 2-year demanding daughter and this place super-charged our batteries!! Wonderful sea, amazing food especially at the Bounganville (a lot of options, all very fresh, good cuisine, plenty of food, typical local food etc), fantastic nursery and baby-club (thank you Laura, simply lovely with children), super-funny... Stayed recently in Sept which was the end of season, great time to go. Quiet, attentive and well serviced. Room was clean, tidy, well air-conditioned and big enough for the wife and I and two kids (7 and 5). Kids stayed on the mezzanine upstairs (superior garden villa) which was fine. They had own TV although we took our own... More

Here are a few bits of information which may be of use (in no particular order): 1. Food and drinks are expensive, e.g. for lunch we had a ham and cheese toasted sandwich by the pool (which comes with chips), very nice but cost €8 each. There is, however, a small supermarket across the road which stocked all basics. 2.... More

Took my daughter here for 2 weeks last year and it was a marvellous holiday. The only thing I would say is pay extra for the accommodation closer to the centre - we were right out and up in the Gods and the walk was a bit like a work out. Good in one way - as the food is... More

I really cannot understand the poor reviews . Whilst the rooms might have been better , the location , the food , the beach , the kids club and the food were all excellent .

Where to start???? The good thing about this place are the pristine amazingly beautiful beaches. All the rest is a disaster.... It's just like a camping site with a 4* signage outside. Everything is old and outdated, the rooms, the public areas, the AC units, the swimming pools, whatever you touch is falling apart. A friend of ours stayed there... More

I can't understand the reviews of this hotel. This is a great hotel with lovely accommodation. Firstly this is called Chia Laguna Resort which is divided into the village, the hotel, the torre and the baie hotel which all fall under the umbrella of the Resort. The accommodation varies depending on which part you stay in. We just returned from... More

Where to start?? Poor , poor , poor . We had Garden Cottage connecting rooms. Very basic, very small and not what you can call a garden. There was no handle on the connecting door and only after asking 3 times on Saturday, Sunday and Monday did they put one on. Rooms were not cleaned properly, don't look under the... More

Recent reviews sum this place up. Our Family Garden Cottage was not a cottage, it was two rooms with other people next door both sides and below. It also had no garden unless a small patch of grass the size of a chair counts. Access to the upstairs room was by a staircase that cut through the downstairs room so... More
