This hotel was such a comfort zone for me because I had been in traffic from DC for three hours. The check in time and check out time was amazing. The hotel location was perfect for me because I had business in downtown Richmond as well as southside Richmond.
My room was very clean and I was accommodated with a...

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Very dirty, There was food beside ice machine never cleaned up. No A/C had to open window on 6th floor when wind would blow ceiling tile would flop. Breakfast bar person would not put anything out 2 hours before time to close. My son went to desk to ask direction they didn't know...

Hotel is a mile from a good location in Downtown Richmond. The location itself is not a good location but is close in proximity.
Hotel has not been kept up at all. Rooms are tiny, bathroom shower head had a leak, cheap shower head, cheap plastic tub liner, small toilet, cheap tp, stains on walls, carpets, all the little things...

The bathroom was to small had a hard time moving around in it without hitting the door. I had to step out of the bathroom just to get dressed. the bathroom only had a reset outlet, with that you could not use the hairdryer and make coffee at the sametime. The room did not come with and alarm clock. I...

The hotel is old and falling apart. There are wires that hang from the ceiling. The bathroom door can't open all the way because it hits the bar for the shower curtain. THE ELEVATOR DIDN'T WORK. The room really stank like smoke despite the fact that it was supposed to be a "non-smoking" room. It was boiling hot when we...

The hotel is fine as a conference venue but not great for a holiday hotel. It is dated and the rooms are a bit dingy but it is clean and comfortable. It is in a good location for Careytown and Monuiment Avenue but not for Downtown. The staff were not helpful at all it took a lot of persuading for...

... but not dangerous. Elevator smelled mildewy (only one elevator was working), but we liked the off street parking, and breakfast was pretty good (some fresh fruit would have been a good addition). Staff was responsive -- when we called down to say that we couldn't get hbo on our tv they sent someone up to make sure we were...

The room was clean, yes the bathroom a little small but it serves its purpose. The front desk people were nice the breakfast was great. the off the street parking was great. i def recommed this hotel and i will def stay here again
I hesitant to stay at this loction due to previous comments however it was close to VCU and affordable. Even though the property is older the location and staff are great. We did not have any issues with bed bugs. :) C.T.
