Comfort Inn Midtown is convenient to downtown and the Fan district but need s some work. Personnel are by and large helpful and pleasant -- particularly in breakfast room. This is certainly not the best place I've ever stayed, not even the best placed I've stayed in Richmond. But is is centrally located and the cost can't be beat ($59/night including parking, free Wi-Fi and breakfast!). I was in town for a conference and just need a placed to crash at night. This certainly served that need.

We enjoyed our stay at the Comfort Inn because of its proximity to many of the sites we had come to see in Richmond. The staff were all helpful and friendly, service was very good as was the generous breakfast.We also enjoyed the Indian restaurant across the street so it was a very convenient and enjoyable stay.
