Great hotel, found it on priceline. Clean and comfortable rooms, very well-maintained. Staff was also very helpful and friendly. Rude staff and less than par rooms. Definitely not worth the money. Drain was clogged and instead of offering us a new room they sent a maintenance person over to interrupt us for 15 minutes while he put draino down the drain. STILL WAS CLOGGED the next day and when it was reported i got an apology. Thanks for nothing!

The restaurant waiter Marlin was wonderful and the bar staff was extremely accommodating and professional. We received excellent service. Also the front desk staff was wonderful and understood our frustration with the lack of hot water on Sunday, May 26. Everyone was extremely professional and helpful.

We found the DoubleTree in Richmond on Franklin Aveune an excellent choice for lodging. Upon our arrival, we were promptly greeted and checked-in within 10 mins. We stayed at this nice hotel in a very nice area of Richmond and were happy for our stay except for the breakfast which does not have any option for vegetarians except bread and fruits! Though there were quite a few meat options. The room was nice and bed comfortable but the bathroom in our room was a matchbox!!

The front desk staff (exception Katina) is to be avoided unless absolutely necessary. The facial expressions and body language dare the guest to approach and request anything.
