This is a wonderful little find. The Alabardero is a boutique style hotel with moorish decor and only 22 rooms. It is a peaceful oasis with small gardens and a lovely pool. We went for a couple of days to this hotel and we loved it. It seemed to us one of those big villas previously owned by some Arab (there are many in this part of Spain). We booked in to the above resort hotel on a recomendation as some where close to the marbella, but away from the madding crowd.
