We enjoyed a very pleasant one night stay at the Hotel Montejaque. It is perfectly situated on the village's pretty main square, which was full of locals on an evening. It might have been a bit noisy in the rooms at the front but we had one of the quieter rooms at the back of the hotel. The room was... More

Such a wonderful mini break for myself, my cousin and my 80 year old mother. We did a lot of research to find the perfect small hotel in a typical Spanish village and were not disappointed. The hotel itself is cute, the rooms comfortable (a twin and a double), lovely lounges, courtyard, restaurant and bar. The food is great as... More

We stayed here one night whilst walking in the area and can thoroughly recommend it. The British owner was friendly and nothing was too much trouble for him. The room we had was large and overlooked the square where the locals tend to congregate and which provided lots of interest. The hotel has recently had work done on it and... More

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Montejaque over Christmas 2011. We had never heard of the village nor intended to visit it until it was recommended by someone on a travel blog. It turned out to be the best advice on travel we've ever received. The owners/management are British, however, they have made every attempt to integrate the hotel... More

I have recently stayed at this lovely spanish hotel for three nights to get away from the hustle and bustle of a busy city life. I found the staff welcoming and the ambiance conducive to my needs. It is situated on the main square where there is lots going on but if you want a quiet time the patio and... More

Visited in September 2011 - stayed in village and wished we had tried this Hotel earlier on our holiday. Food was exceptional, very reasonably priced, wine was good. Staff and management were excellent. Please visit. Highly recommended.

My partner and I stayed here for 1 night on a short driving holiday in Andalucia. The hotel is located in the main plaza in a picturesque mountain village near the beautiful town of Ronda. It is run by a couple of English guys and we found them quite welcoming and friendly. The room we had (3) was quite nice... More

I really enjoyed my stay! Chris and Mia were really friendly and always there making sure you had everything you needed. The food was delicious and went well with the vibrant and relaxed atmosphere. The room was beautiful and looked out over the typically Spanish village town square. If you are looking for a walking holiday or just a "relaxation... More

We spent an amazing 5 days walking in the fantastic countryside around Montejaque and Ronda - a brilliant location and the walks were amongst the best I've done in Spain. The nearby town of Ronda is one of those beautiful white towns. Chris is a brilliant host and nothing was too much trouble for him or his team - good... More

We can't thank you enough Chris and the Team for a fantastic holiday. Nothing was too much trouble - the food was excellent and although we meant to try all the restaurants in the village we were tempted by the menu every night. The lovely atmosphere at 6pm when many people are having a pre-dinner drink allowed us to chat... More
