I will start by saying our room was very nice on the sixth floor. It was clean and comfortable. Where we ran into disappointment was the music was so loud coming from the open center court. If you’re familiar with Embassy suites they have a very nice set up for your room with the seating area with couch as you walk in and your bedroom is in the back. The music was so loud, it drowned out the tv in the living room area. We moved to the bedroom and closed the door to help muffle the music down. The water out of the wet bar sink was cloudy white while the bathroom faucet had clear water. Now Embassy Suites are supposed to be known for breakfast. We went down for breakfast on Sunday morning and there was a line about 20 to 25 people in the omelette line. It was moving extremely slow. So we went to the area where they had the rest of breakfast. For warm food our choice was cold, scrambled eggs, and cold sausage patties. Apparently the chafing dishes were not working. It was a paper sign that said if you want bacon it’s available at the omelette station. Well we were not about to stand in line with the rest of the people just to get bacon. You can tell that they’re not interested in providing hot meals. If you only have one person working an omelette station, with that many people in line. it was a little sad by the time we ate our cold, scrambled eggs, and sausage with coffee, the person at the end of the omelette line when we came down, had not made it up to have his omelette made.

After reading some of the negative reviews, I was skeptical to even book this hotel…however I AM GLAD I DID!!! This hotel is a jewel. We arrived and yes our room was a bit stuffy, but customer service (KRIS) did everything they could to accommodate us and make it right and guess what ..they did! The engineer was there pronto to fix my air conditioner and to say the least..we had awesome cold air our entire 4 day stay!!! The rooms were great and yes some show their age but it’s a very kept aging, and the facilities within the room worked great! Great shower and water pressure…breakfast was very good each day with made to order omelets…security was great. I usually feel a little unsafe parking my vehicle in Atlanta but here, I never felt compromised by the parking as the gate and on-site security felt very safe. Yes, there is a $25 parking fee but I would do it all again to ensure that I am able to leave my car in a safe area while I visit a hotel. It’s not like that everywhere in Atlanta! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will do this again next year!! 😊

This hotel is climate controlled which means that you can control the temp in your room. This is miserable for people who are hot natured and need to be cold to sleep. I tossed and turned all night long because I was sweating and trying to get cool. This should never happen. It is definitely not good customer service. I gave this hotel a 3 star rating because it is clean, and the breakfast was great. I had limited interaction with staff so I can’t review them.

We often enjoy staying at the Embassy Suites because of the higher quality rooms, fancy lobby experience, the really good breakfast and the customer service. I don't know if I would go back to this one. The experience was "okay", but the prices were probably 50% higher than normal due to a last minute stay. The interior of the hotel is dated, although I still like the water falling on the outside wall of the elevator. The digital key worked fine for us. The room was clean and the heater worked well, which was good because the temperature outside got down to freezing. The bedroom part of the suite looks updated. The bathroom was fine. The sofa in the suite looks like it needs to be cleaned or replaced. The breakfast was disappointing. I would call it a "Hampton Inn" breakfast for Embassy suites prices. The fruit seemed to be canned. The pancakes looked and tasted like they were the frozen boxed pancakes you can buy at the supermarket. There was no one cooking at the stovetop. I came down 30 minutes before the breakfast closed but, the stovetop was clean and cold. No omelets and no fresh-cooked food was available. The staff in the kitchen area were friendly and helpful. Customer service at the front desk was pleasant, but not accommodating. I asked for a late checkout. The _latest_ they would allow was 11:30am, and that was stated as if they were doing me a favor.

My family and I really wanted to like this hotel, but so many things happened that made it a horrible experience. The room was nice and spacious with great climate control. They have an evening reception with free drinks and some trail mix. The restaurant food was actually pretty decent and reasonable priced. The breakfast though was subpar and not very good for what we’ve had at other Hilton hotels. That’s about all we can say that was good about this stay. The door to our room lock didn’t open 50% of the time and when it did, you had to open it by lifting up rather than down. The pool had a horrible smell like mildew and even though you can’t see it in the provided picture, the hot tub had some sort of green moss growth on the bottom. My guess is they just throw chemicals in it and hope for the best and don’t actually clean it. The tub in our bathroom was cracked in multiple places. The waterfall backer to the elevator also had multiple areas with growth (?) of something in it (pictured). All of this we were willing to deal with, until it came to the customer service. I prepaid when I booked and used Hilton’s Mobile Key feature. Hilton took my original payment of $334.17 when I made my reservation. Then after checking in, they placed a 2nd hold on my account for the original amount, the incidentals, and then 0.02 in miscellaneous expenses which ended up being ANOTHER $454.19!!!! I went to the front desk to speak to someone who told me that because I used mobile key, my folio wasn’t set up correctly and she would speak to accounting. I asked why my folio wasn’t set up correctly despite me stopping at the front desk upon arrival. She didn’t have an answer. I returned to my room and called the 800 number for Hilton and spoke with Alex. He told me he was unable to assist me as the reservation was marked as in house but he called the front desk and spoke with Claire and indicated the hold would be released when I checked out. I returned to the front desk to meet Patricia, the Director of Finance who indicated it was a hold and would be released 3-5 business days from check out. She also told us that this happens “all the time,” since it “automatically charges you when you use mobile key.” We have never had that happen and have stayed at Hilton many times! Her response was a simple shrug. So unless you have an extra $500 in your debit account, don’t book with these crooks. Oh, and Patricia told us there was no Claire that worked there, so calling the 800 Hilton number for help is an absolute joke. Just got “Alex” (from a call center I’m sure since he had a thick accent). And some of the other employees I couldn’t even tell you their names because they weren’t wearing name tags. Finally, the icing on the proverbial cake was a SUPERVISOR had yelled at my wife for using a DESIGNATED door that leads out to a smoking area and designated doggy station area. He later came over to apologize as the door used to be an emergency exit only but he didn’t know it changed. I asked him when this change occurred and he said “Last week.” I find it strange that every employee knew about this change except for the designated person in charge. Very poor look. He asked us if we had spoken to the GM as he was there. We told him sure, we would like an opportunity to share our poor experience. He went to see if he was available, but he was on a conference call so we were unable to speak to him since his priorities were with that call instead of going out to make things right with guests. Hopefully that call involved better communication with staff, and not putting $ on hold to someone who has already paid in full. Oh, and some humility and respect from his staff would go a long way as well. I would definitely look elsewhere and pass on this pitiful excuse for a hotel.

We go often to Atlanta as we have a family member that dances with the Atlanta Ballet. We spoke to the Embassy Suites several times during the month of December prior to our arrival to insure that all our arrangements were set and that we would have no issues once we arrived. Needless to say...we were never told that the property was undergoing renovations and besides the construction noise etc...that we would have no access to internet. Being self employed...I found this to be most disturbing. IN todays world...internet is like heat and hot water...a necessity. I was told I would be able to discuss this with the manager of the property since he was not available on the weekend. The manager has been evasive, lackadaisical,,,is not interested in addressing the situation and is taking no responsibility or accountability to this issue. I am shocked or should I say "NOT SHOCKED "by his approach. Its a sad state of affairs ...our world right now.Things cost more...services are cut back or non existent and managers or people in charge just dont care. The days of customer service are LONG GONE Very disappointed in this property.Go elsewhere

Dated, dingy hotel. Reality looks nothing like the pictures. Room smelt of smoke, furniture dirty and torn, Wi-Fi didn’t work and staff attitude is just dreadful. We complained and aside from showing us another, equally shoddy room, management did nothing. When my daughter was accosted by a man in the shop in the lobby, I immediately checked out. Awful experience.

Wonderful customer service. Fast check in. Great food for supper and amazing breakfast that is part of your room price . Spacious clean and quiet room . Online reservations in a flash . Best part was we literally were across the street from the Cobb performing arts center and were able to walk to our concert . They also have a great van to pick up and drop you off if needed .

I arrived at the hotel at 3:30 to check in. When I walked through the doors there had to be over 70 people in the lobby waiting to check in. The staff were in the back office occasionally looking out at the increasing line. No one would answer any questions. I tried to call customer service to make other accommodations but no help was given. I had to stand in line for almost 3 hours before checking in only to miss the hold reason for coming to the hotel which was a wedding because there was no place for us to get ready. Being frustrated is an understatement.
