John the doorman helped us get acclimated on our arrival with our two pets. He went out of his way to make sure our stay was very good.

“Don't stay at Governor Morris”

Hotel used for family celebration,bat mitzvah, was a disaster. Dogs barking at all hours; front desk said pets are allowed; that's it! And on the Starwood floor of all places. Was directed to ice machine on sixth floor that didn't work had to go to fifth floor. Room was way behind on electrical support for modern family with computers, etc.... More

“Lousy check-in, but wonderful for the rest”

We booked 5 rooms for a wedding in May. This hotel is beautiful and historic, but the front desk needs a lesson in customer service. “Champagne stay on a beer budget”

We booked a 4 star hotel in Morristown on Hotwire for a long weekend stay. For only $48 a night, I felt that this Westin delivered an outstanding value. I stayed at The Westin Governor Morris over a holiday weekend and it was simply lovely. My expectations were definitely exceeded by the warm, welcoming staff, the elegant ambiance, and the spacious rooms.
