I don't understand why anyone recommends this disgusting firetrap. The lobby is pretty, and the bar is too (if you can get past the thick haze of cigarette smoke). Single-ply TP in a balky dispenser may be all you need to know about the room amenities in the Eola. Guest comfort did not seem to be a priority in the design and details were not attended to. This is a beautiful hotel located in downtown Natchez that is on the National Register of Historic Places. The lobby is beautiful and decorated with antique furniture.
