This stately home, while showing plenty of signs of aging, has been refurbished and very well decorated, and the result is stunning. But the best part of stopping in at Manoir de Bécancourt is the kitchen. It's no exaggeration to use words like fantastic, memorable, heavenly to describe the dishes this kitchen produces, at very fair prices. Nice wine list... More

It truly is a home away from home. The staff are wonderful and helpful. The owners Mario and Jasmine are incrediable people who make you feel special. I love to go and relax especially with the new renos. The spa, workout rm and hot tub are an added bonus. I can't wait for my next visit.

I have stayed at the hotel twice and at the associated Herbert Hotel once. I must say that the staff made me feel very welcome. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Although I was there for business reasons, the time spent at the hotel felt like a relaxing holiday. The food was excellent and very varied, I found the... More

We spent one night at Manoir Becancourt in July 2011. We were really just looking for a place between Baie St Paul and Montreal to spend the night. Becancour itself is a tiny little town – we walked through it after dinner and there really was nothing there. But the Manoir Becancourt was just lovely. We arrived exhausted after a... More

Becancour itself is tiny with not a great deal to do, and unfortunately the hotel doesn't provide a great deal of information (at reception or in the room) on exploring the town or area. However, the Manoir has a very nice garden in which to take a pre-dinner aperitif, so if all you want to do is 'chill', then this... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your honest review! We do take all you have written to heart and we have set in motion in order to tackle those issues that we can deal with like the curtains and our waiting staff food knowledge. Unfortunately in regards to the location there is little we can do and this is why we... More

We arrived with no preconceptions about this interlude in our trip. We had spent several nights in the familiar surroundings of Montreal at Jazz fest and were headed for several more nights in Quebec City which we had never visited before. We knew little enough about Trois Rivieres area but wanted to have time to read and Manoir Becancourt seemed... More

We stayed at Manoir Becancour on our way back to Toronto from Halifax, where we had moved our daughter. Which is a good thing, because if we had stopped on our way TO Halifax, we probably would have just sent our daughter to the nearest bus station and told her to find her own way while we spent a week... This is one bed and breakfest you do not want to miss while visiting Quebec City. Not only are the owners gracious, you will have some of the best food you have ever tasted in your life. My husband and are still talking about the food...we will definitely be back again this year.
