Simple hotel, but perfect for the location. We started our expedition from here. Hotel has a great view on Icefjord with icebergs. Restaurant is very good (there is a also Thai cuisine by a thai cook that is really good). Rooms are simple but sufficient. Staf is very kind and helpfull

Basic interior but great view of the fjord. Rooms 102-106 has restricted view however. The advantage of this hotel compared to Arctic is that it is within walking distance to everything in Ilulissat.

We stayed there twice in April over night on our way to and from Qaanaaq. We were with a group of ten people who went dog sledding and camping for a week in Qaanaaq. The rooms are pretty basic but are clean and comfortable. However, visitors to greenland aren't there to spend time indoors.Tthe views are simply spectacular. It's not everyday you can open the blinds and see icebergs floating past!! The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant was surprisingly good for such a small establishment.

What a place to visit. The hotel: Rooms basic but pay the extra for the top floor. You get a French bolcony, a door that opens with a piece of wood across the space to stop you falling out.
