We chose this because of its proximity to family we were visiting and I can't comment on value as I didn't compare Auckland prices. However, the apartments were nicely presented and had everything we needed and the amazing view (from the ground floor waterfront apartments) made it all worth while. Plus, the breakfast we ordered one morning was fantastic!

Wonderful views of the beach and all the boat traffic. Very comfortable and quiet -and scrupulously clean. Only a couple of minutes drive to the ferry to Auckland or Waiheke Island and a short stroll to two great eateries. It's the only place I'd consider staying while in Auckland
