Very friendly welcome which is always appreciated. Excellent showers. The hand basins are very narrow which makes brushing your teeth somewhat cumbersome! The water pressure in the sinks is also too strong so you end up soaking yourself, though on the last day I found a proper tap in the last toilet. The sites are fine, nothing to write home... More

This is small site compared to those in Franz Josef up the road. Catherine who was looking after the site for the owners was very friendly. There were more than enough bathrooms and showers. The kitchen was small, but more than big enough for the people staying there. It was a sociable kitchen and we met lots of lovely people.... More

Beautiful experience here. Nice facilities, really friendly owner who checked up on us and made sure we were going alright. Clean toilets and showers. We are staying here tonight and the showers here are the best so far on our travels..instant hot water and if you use the big showers they are huge. There really isn't a lot here so if like us you are driving through with one night to spend before you do a heli hike then would recommend this site. Great views at dawn so get up early. Bit noisy on the site during the day as all of the helicopters take off and land in neighbouring fields.

A great camper park, out of the 6 we stayed at in south island, this was the best by far. Very clean and very quiet 10/10
