We stayed here in 2007 because of it's location ...close to the canyons, the downtown and the university part of the city. It was also on the list of hotels in the Ski Salt Lake guide and was very reasonably priced. It had a common room with a gas stove, computers, a small kitchen. The place was full of skiers... More

What else to say? Didn't have that funky motel smell. All that is needed are little instant coffee makers or microwave.

Our check-in was quick but the room was really run-down. No drain on the sink, not sparkling clean, the internet didn't work on my iPad and the tech-support never called back, read on line there was breakfast but didn't hear about it or see it. Went to a Starbucks about 6 blocks away for coffee and internet. The folks are... More

There's a creepy entrance to rooms below parking lot level, and you'll find no amenities such as hair dryer or coffee maker in your room. If you can afford another 25 bucks, you can get something approaching elegance at the Peery Hotel downtown.

This place is in the proximity of everything. Its close to downtown, restaurants, shopping, and lots of attractions, including the ski resorts. Interstate 80 is very close. Prices are reasonable, and the managers are very friendly. The rooms are clean and well-kept. I definitely recommend this place.

We have stayed at the Skyline Inn twice during ski trips to Salt Lake City. It is extremely well located for getting to the ski resorts, on the bench on the east side of the city, about 15 minutes' drive from downtown and about a half hour drive from the Cottonwood Canyons, a little further to Park City. The place... More
