The location of this motel is perfect, 2 minutes away from the interstate, yet within walking distance of downtown SLC, very close to a TRAX station and a nice brew-pub (Legends Bar & Grill) just around the corner. The furniture is somewhat outdated, but functional and everything was clean. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Room keys didn't work. We were told it is #15 in the chain so it very old. They are supposedly in the process of redoing some it. We reserved 3 rooms for family. Had to go to the office twice to get different keys and then they moved us to other rooms. Had a bad smell, stains on a towel... More

Arriving from the hospital from seeing my grandpa, had to get a room. Decided to stay at Motel 6. First walking in I walked into a spider web. Then when pulling down the sheets there was hair all over the pillow and mattress. When I looked under the second bed, there was animal feces under the bed. This was absolutely... More

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Motel 6 has the best shower heads. I always have the best showers when I'm at Motel 6. Motel 6 has a tendency of doing the simple things right whilst some of the more expensive (nicer looking) hotels don't. For example, the towel rack is placed in a good position so... More

We stayed here because the price was right and it was close to downtown and we were too tired to look around. The room smelled awful, but it was clean, except for stained carpet. The bedding was old, but clean. No coffee pot in the room, but free coffee in the lobby. I was concerned with scruffy looking people hanging... More

You can always count on Motel 6, from what I have experienced, and this is no exception. You pay for a clean, simple room and that is what you get. They provide soap andplenty of towels, and there is free coffee in the lobby in the morning. There is a pool. The hotel is far enough from the busy road... More

i stayed here cause it close to downtown somtimes you get good room other time you get the cheapest smelliest smoking rooms. also its like partien place for young people, they trash the place and drink in rooms so its kinda messed up. i wouldnt reccomend it to family who wants get nice rest, feel comfortable i'd look elsewhere.

This place is gross, but you get what you pay for. The guy at the front desk was nice enough, but our room was nasty. Giant pee stain on the bed, soaked through all the blankets to the mattress. Gave us a new room, but it was hard to get that image out of my mind.

Went to SLC for Sundance this year and decided to spend less on the hotel and more on the movies. Wasnt expecting a whole lot seeing as how we only stayed 5 nights and spent $289 while every other surrounding hotel was $600+. We got what we paid for. A room with 2 beds, a shower, a toilet and a... More
