This is one of the safer choices amongst the lower priced hotels on the Corpus Christi South Side. I have stayed here twice now. The staff is particularly friendly. The rooms feel a little dated, and the carpets need to be cleaned more often. However, the bed linens are good.

We stayed in this dump for 2 nights and would never go back. Hotel is close to shopping and restaurants. The place is dirty, carpet is coming loose, numerous cockcroaches everywhere (we killed 5 in the tub), bed is ok but generally a very unpleasant experience.

Have reserved rooms ( 6 to 8 ) for my team every year for the past 8 years.. What few minor problems that popped up (ie: air conditioner goes out) was promptly taken care of by the staff. KD, Veronica and staff are courteous and friendly. The facility and room are clean and affordable. Everything is near by and the beach is not far away. It makes the Corpus getaway a lot more pleasant.

The room was smaller than I expected. The bathroom was basically in the kitchen area. The beds were comfortable and the room stayed wonderfully cold. The tv and cable wasn't very impressive but luckily we spent most of our days at the beach. OVERALL.....I would stay here again, it was very affordable.

What Sun Suites lacks in ammenities it makes up for with its nice ,friendly staff. Its not the newest but it has been the friendliest. From its front desk clerks with thier bright smiles, to the housekeeping staff that were helpful,to the mainanence workers that kept the property clean. Stayed here several times (3 to 4 days at a time). It meets the basic needs. Plan on staying here again.

I was nice because it settled was quiet at night and we had a good nights sleep.

Good deal for me. Close to where I want to be at a great price. Friendly front desk too, especially Veronica and Donna.
