First, the location was good. Service was not! Expensive room - asked for and paid for a "corner room" - the way the hotel is built, most rooms are "corner". They were remodeling, which is certainly understandable . It didn't appear there was ever a place in the lobby to meet friends, read a paper, or relax. Bar and eating... More

I've never written a review on a hotel before but I stayed at both the Marriott and the Super 8 in one week, different states while on a business trip. (Normally I would never stay at a Super 8 but it was the only hotel left with open rooms.) I was shocked to find that the Super 8 was a... More

This Marriott is very close to Uptown Albuquerque where there is upscale shopping and dining; plenty of free parking, but, within a short walk from the Marriott. However, I do not recommend walking since you will have to cross a 6 lane road. If you like Trader Joe's and Starbuck's like I do, its in the Uptown area. I was... More

I want to begin by addressing the positive aspects of my stay at this property: The high note was definitely the bell staff- especially Kyle and Paul. They are gentle, friendly, informative, helpful and take pride in what they do. Also a waitress named Kiwi was delightful, making up for all the defficiencies of the breakfast service. And of course,... More

The lobby in this Marriott is the best thing about it. Snappy and hip decor with a large touch screen to search the area, get news ... Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very large with long long hallways that show the buildings age. Our room was a trek away. Clean. The a/c was annoying as it... More

This Marriott is fairly typical for the chain. On the positive side, all of the staff I encountered were very helpful and friendly. Also, it was very easy to get to off of the Interstate and there were plenty of dining options nearby. The room I was in had a nice view of the mountains, however, it could due with... More

I stayed at this Marriott while I was in Albuquerque on vacation. It was great! They had all the amenities. The air conditioner ( and the heater) worked. The room was really nice. The pool and whirlpool were comfortable and clean. The service in all aspects was excellent. The front desk personnel were knowledgeable and helpful-great problem solvers. The restaurant... More

This Marriott is located right on, and I mean right on, Hwy 40 which is good if you are just stopping over for the night. The rooms were clean and we were upgraded to a King corner room. As a Marriott gold elite, I was disappointed that they did not participate in the free breakfast benifit for a weekend stay.... More

When staying in Albuquerque for business I've either stayed at the Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town, or in the nearby Hyatt Place (a couple of blocks from Marriott). This time I decided to try Marriott and am pretty disappointed overall. Check-in was a pain due to parking - or lack thereof. Reception desk staff was very nice. The room was... More
