Stayed at three different locations in the past 10 days, this was the 2nd. Room had mold issues and was smelly, just like the other two I had stayed at (the other two did not have mold). It was clean but the odor was not really accceptable. Arrived at the location, the room had not been cleaned (8:30pm), didn't end... More

A good value and very clean for AAA rate of $44, but you get what you pay for: a bare-bones motel that's a good choice when you're on a budget. Free wi-fi and basic breakfast, but we left too early to sample the breakfast.

My husband & I recently stayed at the Econo Lodge in Crescent City Ca. for one night. We just needed a place to "crash" as we were attending a local car show & knew we would be out late. It was clean. Nothing fancy but cleanw/ a pleasent staff. The next night we stayed in another hotel on our way... More

We stayed here for one night after a very long drive from Seattle. The motel attendant was not very friendly (mind you it was after midnight), however a nice hello would have been welcoming. The room was what I expected for a cheap motel, however it was a little more rundown than what I would have preferred. Paint was peeling... More

This is the pits. It appears this was an outdated motel saved by Econolodge, Incorp. Don't stay here! Paperthin walls (can here moans all night), very outdated furniture, dirty carpeting, run-down bathrooms and sinks.....may I say more? It's not worth 50 cents, unless you like cheap motels, but then again if you are reading this review you are more better... More

We did not have a reservation when we got to Crescent City and some of the nicer places along the highway were already full. We decided this one was off the beaten path so would be less busy and quieter and it was. The motel is really old and does not show well but you could tell they make an... More

Motel looks scary from hwy. It is located away from harbor/restaurant area but right off of Hwy 101. Price was cheap but it is an old hotel, needs love. The room was clean, sheets fresh each day and the shower had the hottest water ever! We had booked for 2 nights and after checking in weren't sure we would stay.... More

The best going for this clean standard budget motel is it's location between the magnificant redwood forests and the Pacific Ocean with dramatic seastacks and historic lighthouse, no more than a few miles in either direction from the motel parking lot. Walgreen's, Denny's, fast food places, and Safeway are two minute drives.

When we were traveling the country and got stuck because of snow to the East in Crescent City for a few days, I was surprised to find that this hotel how accommodating and friendly the staff at the hotel were. We liked our room. It was clean and comfortable. We loved the rates! They made the inconvenience of having to... More

Best thing about room was ample parking in front of room door. No AC. Breakfast almost gone at 8 am. Chair was too rickety to sit on. It was cheaper, but the quality was directly related to price. Only good if you plan to simply sleep and drive.
