Stayed for a night during off season with another friend. Property is quite dated with not much facilities. Room was decent but very thin wall and quite warm. Also, when you book a one bedroom suite...don't expect a true suite. This is more like a regular room with a half partition wall dividing between the bedroom and a sofa bed.... More

Stayed here for a week in a two bedroom, two bath unit on the second floor. The decor is outdated but that wasn't a problem since it was clean and had great views. They were just finishing changing out the beds with new ones in all the units. Some have complained of hard beds in the past. My only problem... More

Stayed here over a beautiful Colorado early spring weekend. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful. Loved to just have the windows open and let the cool breeze from the moutains blow in. Rooms could get warm. We just kept the windows open during the day. At night, we closed the windows and cranked up the ceiling fan. Slept like... More

This was a great place to stay. I wish I could have stayed more than one night, but I was just passing through. I will agree with others that the room was too warm, but that better than being too cold with the snow on the ground outside. A coyote howled seemingly feet from the window and we were woke... More

The Good: large room with kitchenette, nice clean bathroom, flat screen TV, DVD/VHS player, lots of glassware and utensils, stove, fridge, microwave, view of Continental Divide, free newspapers including USA Today, WiFi, clean room, big and new towels, nice price in the off season. The Bad: room was very hot upon entering, room next door had a crying kid, no... More

Myself and three other friends stayed here for spring break inMarch 2011, the low season in the area. Crag's was the cheapest and probably one of the nicest places to stay for this time of year. For as old as the building is, it is in exceptional condition and has been retrofitted and preserved appropriately. The staff wasn't really there,... More

We booked the Crag through Travelocity for a weekend in December. The hotel is a timeshare, so they have a small fridge and microwave in each room. The accomodations were very comfortable and staff was super friendly. The hotel is "rustic" but very neat and clean. Would absolutely book here again. Hotel is about 1 miles from the Rocky Mountain... More

This is truly a very romantic place to stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful with places off the beaten path to eat and see. We booked the studio it was small but very cozy and a very beautiful view. The history of the hotel was displayed in the hotel and loved seeing and learning about the history of... More

We had a great stay, and we definitely look forward to staying at Crags Lodge again. We booked the smallest room they have - which had a murphy bed - but that worked fine for us. (with the bed up, there was room for my yoga mat...). We appreciated having the 'mini-kitchen' to have breakfasts 'in' (although we went downstairs... More

We had a wonderful stay. Staff was excellent, from the front desk to the wait staff in the restaurant and the musician playing guitar and singing during the dinner hours. The Lodge is definitely old, so having the appropriate expectation would be key in booking this accommodation. We happened to get an end room on the northeast corner, facing the... More
