This is not the swankiest cabin in the area. This has been our comfy home for 3 days. The work that has gone into and continues to go into the Blackhawk gives it that minimal but comprehensive feeling. Just off the road and not far from the RMNP entrance, it has it's own brand of tasteful settings. The owners made... More

Cute, cozy, clean cabin. Owners are very helpful and friendly! We went when there was a huge snow storm and the owner brushed and scrapped our car off for us! Very affordable and worth every penny! Will be returning!

I stayed here with a group of friends and took up 2 cabins. I was in cabin #3; other party in cabin #10. I would recommend cabins on the same side of street as #3 for roominess. We were here in August when Hurricane Irene hit the east coast and we couldn't get home. Randy and Teresa worked with us... More

This place has very well equipped cabins and the location could not better. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and will make this our new spot when we go to Estes. The price is a real bargain.

This was out first visit to Estes Park. The owners made it a very enjoyable experience. The cabins were very nice, confortable, and clean. Wildlife was in abundance. It was just a fantastic experience. In fact we booked all 10 cabins for a family reunion next year.

Black Hawk lodge provides a great family vacation location. This is our second year here. We bring our son, his wife and grandkids. We play, hike, fish and visit. It is a perfect place for family. The new owners are warm and friendly. They make you feel at home. The cabins have been updated recently which makes this an even... More

We spent two nights here in a cabin with two bedrooms. It's really close to the entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park and you pay for that but it was in line with other places and far from the most expensive. The cabins but decorated in a slightly retro style but clean and comfortable. The owners were lovely and... More

It has been 13 years since we were in Estes and we last stayed at Blackhawk. We didn't want the hotel chain or off the river experience. We wanted to be back on the river with a great view. But, do you go back to the same place after all these years? Luckily we saw that the new owners were... More
