I stayed there with my family for a week. Everything was clean. Our rooms were very nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool and hot tub. River was right outside our room. Beautiful. Five stars.

Love this place on the river. Just 2 blocks from shopping/downtown area and 4-5 miles from RMNP. Recently renovated, rooms are spacious and offer different configurations for families and friends. Our room had an enclosed stairway that connected our room on the 2nd floor to the downstairs room. Our room had a large fireplace that was very inviting. The balconies... More

My hubby and I stayed here after getting a good deal for the lodge through livingsocial.com. We paid $149 for 2 nights which included a bottle of wine, ticket for buy one get one free wine tasting at a local winery plus a $25 gift certificate to be used on a $35 or more meal tab at the resort restuarant... What a great find this was! Felt so fortunate to secure Room 210 and be here before high season. It was quiet, peaceful, laid back, & relaxing. We had AMAZING elk sightings off our deck our first afternoon at the motel. LOVED the large fireplace. Went to sleep with a fire in the fireplace every night. Slept with the sliding... More

There is no better place to stay for a Rocky Mountain vacation. The view of the mountains is unbeatable. The management and staff are friendly, helpful and always available. Elk and other wildlife are close-by almost daily; who needs to go to a zoo? We had a very spacious room with a comfortable outside deck overlooking a beautiful stream full... More

My husband and I stayed here with our two little ones! We stayed in Room A above the office!! While we did not have a fireplace, we LOVED LOVED LOVED the space, especially the extra little room we were able to put the kids in so we could have some privacy. We loved seeing all the elk and wild life!,... More

Hi ...i stayed here in May. They are super nice at the desk. The breakfast is a wide selection of donuts, bagels, boiled eggs, coffee, juice, muffins, toast, fruits, cliff bars, etc. It is very clean. The rooms are clean and the beds are new and very comfy. I recommend this place. If you can get a river room, but... More

My boyfriend and I stayed Here for a couple of days! It was beautiful. It was frustrating though because they said the hot tub would be working but they filled it when we were there so it was too cold to use! Over all I really like it!

My family stayed in Murphy's in spring of 2012, and after reading the reviews on tripadvisor I was looking forward to the stay. The room we were put in looked over a dumpy building that was falling apart. Is was large, but there was no fireplace.I think you need a room with a king bed to get that. While the... More

I first would like to reply regarding your breakfast issues. We purchase fresh fruit twice a week from the local grocery store. We do not peel each fruit to insure its condition. When anyone buys a bag of fresh fruit there is always the possibility of getting the occasional piece that needs to be thrown away. If we see damaged... More

Amazing stay, we have found the perfect place to stay every time we visit Estes. A out of town feel even though you are only a few blocks from downtown. I have been recomemding Murpy's to all my friends. It is a very well kept lodge and every room that we have stayed in has great views. I can't say... More
