We saw some mediocre reviews for the Estes Park KOA before we arrived, and frankly couldn't understand why once we stayed there. We had a very easy and friendly checkin experience, our 1-room cabin was very clean, close to the bathrooms and laundry facilty, and had a super nice deck area with amazing views. I don't know if I was... More

We spent a night in our RV at this place and were very pleased with the facilities and location. From our site we had a nice view across the valley. Perfect: A free shuttle into town stops in front of the KOA. Everything was clean, the staff was helpful. We'll sure would come back if in the area.

I enjoyed staying at the Estes Park KOA. It's your pretty typical campground. The sites were a little close together, but I liked that they had a covered area for the picnic table, which gave some shade. You are close to the highway, which didn't bother me, and also to the Estes Park Dam, which you will hear at night.... More

We stayed in a Kabin here for 3 nights. Upon entering the Kabin we noticed it was not very clean(there was sticky, syrupy type substance on the table/shelf) and there was an unpleasant odor. We were in K15 which is at the top of a hill and possibly the furthest cabin from the bathroom/shower facilities. Our front door faced the... More

This camper was very accurate in her review. As owners we strive to provide the very best camping experience possible. In our efforts to reach a level of perfection we generally reach a level of excellence that earns us customer satisfaction awards year after year. In that pursuit, cleanliness is one of our cornerstone objectives. In this case we had... More

We stayed here on a recent camping trip to Estes Park. My husband and I love to tent camp - no cheating with an RV for us - and we had stayed at a KOA up in South Dakota a few years ago and enjoyed it so we wanted to try it again. The campground is on the east end... More

We stayed in the Delux Kamper Kabin for 2 nights while we were in that area during our road trip. The Kabin was very clean, and efficient. (see pictures) The bedroom even has AC! I would say though if you are driving a bigger rig, they really jam those in there and there isnt much in the way of privacy.... More

We were on a budget for our time in Estes Park and this KOA was great! The folks working there were so helpful and friendly. The Kamp wasn't busy when we arrived so they gave us a choice of two Kabins and let us decide. I was traveling with a friend and we stayed in a one-room Kamping Kabin. It... More

We actually stayed here July 2007 during a longer trip when we had engine trouble with our tow vehicle and had to spend a night in Estes Park unexpectedly. The staff was very understanding and accommodating of our situation. They had a spot where we could stay for two nights until our rig was repaired. The only negative (other than... More

We stayed for two nights at this KOA location and found it to be an excellent experience. We had previously read that the cost was high, however all the campgrounds in the area, with the exception of the Forest Service and Colorado State locations were priced either near the same or higher. The common restrooms and shower facilities, were spotless.... More

I first stayed at the KOA in Estes as a teenager in my parents RV 15 years ago. I have since stayed numerous times in their RVs (26-42 footers) and in the one room and two room cabins, as well as in a pop-up camper as an adult w my husband. Every single time it has been a phenomenal experience.... More
