“In Need of MAJOR Renovation”

While the staff is very pleasant, the guest rooms are awful. The heating/cooling system is loud (at times sounds like a helicopter and other times a squealing pig), floors are dirty (and even have sharp objects sticking out), and furnishings are quite worn. “Very clean room”

We booked two rooms from priceline. Frontdesk is very helpful and gave us two connected rooms and per our request, not close to highways. The room is clean and the hotel location is convinient. They also have free on site parking

“Convenient location”

We used the hotel shuttle service in the evening to go to a Federal Hill restaurant. The pick-up service after the meal was prompt. Other guests were using the shuttle to get to the Providence Civic Center for a sports event. This was so helpful because there is little parking availability in Providence.

Had a great stay, hot chocolate and apples available in the lobby, great service, friendly employees (especially Irving at the front desk and phone calls from staff to check on room service after breakfast was delivered).

“Much more than just free parking and Wi-Fi!”

Got a nice deal through a travel website for an overnight stay. Were greeted warmly by the valet and front desk. Lobby area was very clean and lively. “A bit on the aged side for a Marriott property.”

Decent enough of a hotel, on the edge of downtown but not in downtown proper. Closer to the state house than it is to what I would consider downtown Providence.
