My husband and I just returned from a fabulous stay at the Suncatcher Bed and Breakfast. As many others have recounted, the house is absolutely gorgeous. Jonos made us feel incredibly welcome and prepared gourmet breakfasts every day. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, making you feel miles away from civilization even though it is only 15 minutes from downtown... More

My adult daughter and I wanted to have a weekend in the desert...some hiking...but also some city time. What a perfect solution! Jonos welcomed us and knows just how to provide the right amount of attention. He was great in preparing a breakfast that my daughter (who has several food intolerances) could eat with lots of fresh, whole foods. Jonos'... More

Sun Catcher is truly a gem. All the reviews speak to the fabulous host Jonos, his gorgeous house excellently designed and could easily be featured in Architectural Design magazine. And the breakfast is not the usual pancakes and pastries. Jonos is a chef and prepares a gourmet feast along with fresh fruit. First day we had a veggie quiche with... More

We spend two wonderful nights in this wonderful place. To call it Bed & Breakfast doesn't give it proper credit, it is so much more than it. From the very beginning we were welcomed by Jonas like friends. His house is amazing: beautiful architecture filled with amazing artwork and books about everything you ever wanted to read. His breakfast is... More

My wife and I found this B&B near Saguaro National Park run by a truly warm, informal and charming Hungarian gentleman, Janos. It is the perfect base for hiking or horse riding in Saguaro National Park, which is in walking distance. (However, for ambitious hikers who favor great views in addition to the Saguaros, I would not suggest the local... More

We decided to come spend the night before the birth of our first child. This was the perfect place to spend a romantic relaxing evening. The location is secluded and quiet yet only 15 mins away from a great dinner and dessert place. The innkeeper Janos was warm, welcoming and extremely hospitable! We spent a hot tucson day cooling down by... More

We travelled in late March 2011 for a week of hiking and enjoying the many parks and outdoor activities in the Tucson area. The SunCatcher B&B was the perfect location for us. Janos made us immediately feel welcome and treated us like family. We were traveling with a 5 year old and we were a little concerned as to whether... More

This is an excellent Inn for the whole family, or families! We had the entire Inn for 10 people, all with own beds & bath, kithchen & best part was the private pool & hot tub! Excellent views from all the rooms & easy access to national parks with short trip to Pheonix for spring training! Didn't use the food... More

We wanted a quiet location close to Saguaro National Park. The Suncatcher Inn was all that we could want; a beautiful inn, close to the park, and owner Janos gave us everything we asked for and more! His breakfasts are world class, we've never had better; and Janos went overboard accommodating our early morning departures and extra requests. I will... More

Rather than repeat the many accurate descriptions of the Suncatcher, I wanted to add a couple of sidebars to the commentary. Location: Far eastern outskirts of Tucson. This means 15-30 minute drives to downtown, most attractions and restaurants, university, etc. We stayed 3 nights with daily trips to downtown/attrations and then back later for dinner. The driving got old but,... More
