A very cute venue. Very large room, almost large enough for a suite. But walking around I saw that older rooms were smaller. I cannot attest to their insides but our room has a huge bathroom with two sinks, a bath tub and separate shower enclosure. The towels are big and absorbent, almost approaching the quality of top notch Turkish... More

From time to time I stay here because my daughter is a student at U of A and this is very close. It's located in a nice part of town with restaurants near by. The rooms in the newer section of the property are very spacious and clean. Most have gas fireplaces, small fridges and coffeemaker. The hotel is a... More

This is a very good hotel to just relax and enjoy. The pool is very good and jacuzzi is excellent. If you just want to rest in a very good atmosphere, this is the place. The Hacienda Style is just right to relax. The reason I am giving it 4 stars is because WIFI at the back of the hotel,... More

I used to live in Tucson, and frequently return to visit. I usually stay with friends, but on this visit I chose to stay on my own. In choosing a hotel, I was looking for something that really felt like "home" in Tucson, but still offered the convenience of a front desk and the ability to come and go as... More

I have got to say that this place was more wonderful that I thought it would be. The renovations that were done to it made it nicer and yet it has kept its historical presence. The grounds were fragrant with all the blooming flowers and very clean. The room itself was very clean and the bed was quiet comfortable. Being... More

I stayed here 2 nights on my way to Las Cruces. I'm a history buff and the idea of spending time in a Arizona landmark, a previous family residence, was just what I was looking for to relax and rejuvenate. The 103-room boutique lodge is situated on five acres at the foot of the Santa Catalina Mountains. The grounds reflect... More

This place was fine for us, but it seems like it once might have been pretty great. It’s a teensy bit rundown, and the bathroom needed renovation, but we liked the walled-in feeling of the resort, with the winding paths to you room. We were assured we would have internet connection in our room but we did not. Apparently pet... More

We stay at the Lodge on the Desert when we visit our daughter at the University of Arizona. It's a perfect location close to the college with affordable rooms, and discounts offered for families of the U of A. The rooms are very nice and spacious. I would recommend one of the spa suites, which are nicely appointed and large!... More

The room was awesome the bed was extremely comfortable. The tv was small for the rooms being so pricy. The service was average it took me 4 hours to book a room due to me having a gift certificate.

This review is referencing my daughter's earlier review titled "ruined my graduation". We'd like to say that the Lodge has redeemed themselves. Frank, the manager at the lodge on the desert, was very accommodating the next day after the incident and has continued to be very hospitable to her needs. After the review was written he agreed to comp my... More
