I usually am traveling around the states. I did not usually to this kind of reviews but this time I feel encourage to do it because I had a chance to meet so kind people and professional; specially Ms. Yvette one of the front desk clerk, they make me feel home everything was extremely clean and organize, employee were so... Stopped at one hotel in town and it was much more expensive...thought I would GPS for another in close proximity to fall within my companies budget. Found this Inn on the outskirts of town but still very close to center of city. Very cute older place with a little courtyard with picnic tables in the middle. It reminded me what... More

It's an older motel, but it is very clean. The staff are very nice and helpful, and went out of their way to pay attention to each person checking-in. There was also a kurig coffee maker in the room with different types of coffee. The only thing I would have changed would have been an extra pillow.

The location is 15 minutes from downtown Salem. The management and staff are wonderful, helpful, and always trying to create a stress free and friendly environment. The rooms are large, warm, and clean. One of the best motels I have ever stayed at. The price is competitive and well worth it. You won't be disappointed.

I would never stay at this hotel again. The whole stay was really weird. Upon arrival we went to our room, unpacked some items and decided to head out for dinner. My son left his phone charger plugged into the wall. When we returned that evening the charger was gone. I went crazy looking in the room thinking maybe he... More

Over the last five years, we've stayed here every time we are in town visiting family. It's reasonably priced and although not in the center of town, it is close enough to go back and forth to the local attractions. Since we get the suite, it works great with two kids - can put them to bed in one room... More

The Clipper Ship Inn is a real nice place to stay which is real close to all of Salem's attractions. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We were married in Salem and stayed at the hotel. My wife and I loved it so much that we left Maine to come back there the following... More

The woman who owned/managed the hotel was rude. We had already paid a nonrefundable deposit on the room and got there 15 minutes before checkin. They decided to put us in an upstairs room at the very far corner because the manager said she could get more money for the room we were originally given. We had to come back... More
