We were in San Antonio for 5 days for our son's graduation from BMT. I picked this property based on the reviews and folks either were more generous than I am or things have really gone downhill since those reviews were written. To start it off, our room had a missing lightbulb, a light fixture in the ceiling of the... More

Our son graduated from USAF BMT at lackland AFB. We wanted to stay somewhere nice away from the base so he could have a place to relax. Upon arrival, check-in was fast/painless. They even allowed us to check-in earlier than their established time. The people working there were all very friendly/helpful. The room was nice and clean. Although, we planned... More

The rooms are European style, very tight with minimalist furniture, and a rather odd layout with a shower and vanty in one room, and a commode and a lavatory in a separate room right off the twin double beds. I realize this isn't a Marriott hotel, but it is a Marriott property and there are some things that should be... More

The first room I checked into reeked of smoke. So I promptly changed rooms to find this room had a filthy tub. Whatever. I went downstairs on the way to dinner and asked that the tub be cleaned the next day. It was. My laptop was also unplugged and had lost it's battery for 8+ hours. Annoying. I was there... More

I will first say that this hotel seemed to be fully booked on the evening my family selected to stay. It was a very busy Spring Break week and the hotel was FULL of families. Upon entering the hotel, my hopes were high - the lobby area was clean and the decor was modern and fun. It gave off a... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of our SpringHill Suites hotel. We appreciate all feedback. As you stated, some of the issues you experienced were out of our control. Obviously spring break is a busy time for the hotel. Thank you for being understanding about that. The other issues, such as the cleanliness and customer service,... More

I fell into this hotel by accident and it worked out well. I had a reservation with another hotel and when that did not work out, this hotel was quite accommodating. The manager worked with me to get a reasonable rate for their hotel. He also assured me that my room would not have crickets, but did not lie and... More

We arrived at 6:00 pm when check-in time is 3:00 pm and we had requested early check-in and they did not have a room ready for us. We had to wait 30 minutes for a room on a reservation that we had made a few weeks earlier. They offered no concessions for the wait. The swimming pool is about the... More

Who is writing these reviews?? This hotel has paper walls!! Breakfast was a zoo. If you are staying with kids and don't mind hearing your neighbors I guess it's ok. Otherwise there are better properties. Will never stay here again.
