We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The close proximity to the plaza and free parking was a plus. The staff was friendly and courteous, breakfast (included) was delicious, the room was great. Especially enjoyed the fireplace. Will definitely return.

I think my review will be in line with the other positive reviews. My friend and I primarily chose this because it was one of the few plaza-close inns in Santa Fe that offered two beds in the room (I think due to the historic size of the other Inns, most rooms other than suites couldn't accommodate two beds). The... More

The Inn of the Governor is well-located, an easy few minute walk to the heart of town. We stayed in the main building which they told us at check-in was an up-grade. The price was great and included a lovely fresh breakfast and a $25 credit to spend on food or drinks. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was... More

I booked this hotel not only for the great reviews but also because of all the deals and extras from the hotels web site. We received for our three days in Santa Fe, a free buffet breakfast, free parking, free Wi-Fi, $25.00 credit per room each day at El Charro Saloon next to the hotel. If that's not enough the... More

We go to Santa Fe at least twice a year, but have never stayed at Inn of the Governors. I have to say, we really enjoyed the atmosphere at the hotel; the staff was courteous and always helpful; the full buffet breakfast (included in the price of the room) was excellent as well as tea, sherry and those wonderful "Biscochito"... My wife and I were last in Santa Fe 10 years ago and when we decided we wanted to return for a visit we knew we wanted to stay at the Inn of the Governors again. We loved Santa Fe the first time and we loved the hotel, too. Sometimes when you visit a place for the second time we've... More

The hotel is very well maintained, the service is excellent and the amenities are distinctly "old Santa Fe." The staff is attentive, efficient and friendly. The location is perfect, surrounded by many good small restaurants and several blocks from the Plaza. The traditional fireplace was fully functional--warmed the room quickly and was meticuously cleaned every day. The beds are comfortable... More

My wife and I spent 5 nights here on a recent trip to Santa Fe. The hotel is located a couple of blocks from the plaza area and is near many good restaurants. The room was decorated in a Southwest style and had a working kiva fireplace (we had fires on two nights - the hotel provides the wood free).... More

This is a lovely older hotel in a great location. Rooms, while small by today's standards, are charming and comfortable with traditional native art. If you can get a 2nd floor room with a real Kiva fireplace, it's heaven in fall/winter & a taste of old Santa Fe. The staff is awesome, breakfasts ample & good, & afternoon tea with... More

Our visit consisted of 5 nights in a deluxe king room with fireplace, balcony and double sinks. There was lots of room to move around. It was beautifully cared for by housekeeping each morning and each afternoon we would return to find the fireplace mysteriously clean and reset with extra firewood for the evening. The front desk staff was extremely... More
