We had a penthouse - all of which are accessed on the second floor. (So if you don't want to carry your luggage up the stairs, this is not the room for you). This room has the main bedroom in a loft setting (not a traditional bedroom) and the second bed is a pull-down bed a foot away from the... More

Thank you for your review and sharing your feedback. As you mentioned, our renovation is indeed underway! About half of all our suites have been completed and the response has been great. The lobby and exercise room will be complete by June 1st. The breakfast room reopened on May 16th. Thank you for mentioning the Penthouse suites are on the... More

This place is a bit on the old side. There were a couple stains on couch cushions and curtains. But the kitchen had everything we needed. We were disappointed in the 2 bedroom penthouse. They are all on the second floor. You walk into the living area and about 10 feet in font of you is the first bedroom which... More

We stayed 4 nights (fri -tue) while on a ski vacation. I am a Platinum Rewards member, and stay at Marriott properties about 100+ nights a year. The overall condition of the hotel is fair, and hopefully the renovation will bring it up to the usually excellent Marriott chain level. The major shortcomings were, old, dated, and worn out furnishings... More

I've been in Marriott's Rewards program since its inception and have spent the equivalent of a year and a half in Marriott property rooms. Even after little business travel for the past two decades, I still have more than a half million points. That should qualify me to say that this is one Marriott property that badly needs a facelift. From... More

The Residence Inn Santa Fe was overall decent, but it seemed like the king studio suite we stayed in was partially renovated. The furniture had been upgraded, but the appliances in the kitchen were quite old. Hotel prices are always high in Santa Fe, so it seemed like a lot for a mediocre Residence Inn. This Residence Inn features the... More

Nice hotel, nothing special. Good location and friendly staff. Happy hour in the evening is just M-W from 5-6:30pm, should be a bit longer if you ask me. Breakfast very basic, not much to it. Rooms not very modern, furniture a bit old. I did experience A LOT of static electricity when I went to bed... my hair was standing... More

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Until this trip my experience with Mariott properties had always been really positive. The room was incredibly out dated and in poor condition. 25 year old kitchen, noisy refrigerator that sounded like a broken fan when the compressor kicked on in the middle of the night, cabinet doors that didn't close, shower... This property is a very average property. This property should be updated and the beds should be improved to real Marriott beds. The food is not good at all. The coffee should be improved.

When we travel to Santa Fe each summer to see the Santa Fe Opera and attend the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival, we have usually stayed at a hotel on Cerillos Road. This year, we learned of terrible construction which would make our commutes a challenge as they did two years ago when the first construction phase began. Since we... More
