I spent two nights in this beautiful hotel, and I'd love to come back! The Hotel was an old train station, so imagine the charm! the inside is beautiful and it makes u feel back in the '20s! the rooms are comfortable (u can even have an adjustable bed) and everything is clean with a perfect perfume in the air... The hotel is in the former Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad station. Beautiful building that was abandoned and then revitalized into a Hilton Hotel when it reopened 10+ years ago. It has been re-branded a Radisson as the Hilton has a new location a couple blocks away. We arrived on foot and didn't require a bellman or valet car park.... More

The Lackawanna Radisson in Scranton, PA is indeed a unique venue. It is, in fact, the former railroad station of the Lackawanna Railroad. It was first converted many years ago into office space and later into its current identity as a Radisson hotel. Many of the features of the old station have been preserved. The original exterior is intact. The... More

There was a mix-up with our reservation, so we were upgraded to a "suite." The room was pretty small, but it was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The bed in the pull out couch was actually pretty comfortable, too. The room decore was a little dated but in good repair. Tons of hot water and great water pressure in... More

My friends and I spent two nights at the Radisson Lackawanna Station on March 30 / 31st. We had three rooms on the fifth floor. The hotel is a beautiful old train station. Plenty of parking. The lobby was beautiful. There is a nice restaurant in the hotel and an ok bar at the hotel. They had a piano player... More

Dear Jandjlove2boat, Thanks for the detailed review of our location and the surrounding areas. We are delighted to read you had a good stay with us and enjoyed our Sunday Brunch. I deeply apologize for the small TV and am not sure how it ended up in a room as all our guest rooms have 32 inch flat screen TV’s.... More

My new husband and I stayed in this hotel immediately following our wedding this past December 3 - 5, 2011. Not only is the main lobby absolutely stunning, but the staff is friendly as well. It is clear that this hotel holds much historic charm. Our favorite part of the weekend was definitely Sunday brunch at their restaurant, Carmen's. From... More

We stayed at the Radisson Lackawanna Station while visiting my son at the University of Scranton. We wanted to be very close to the campus and other than the Hilton a block away (which was booked solid), this is the only choice. The building is impressive (from a distance), but upon closer inspection, it's just old. The front desk staff... More

As the title indicates, this place is just old. And that's ok, but some places carry it off, while others just don't. The Radisson Lachawanna Station does not. True, the carpeting throughout the hotel appears to be new, but just about everything else is old and dirty. The walls rising out of the atrium and into the roof of the... More

The rooms are nice and we enjoy staying here. If you like unique places you would like this hotel. It actually has Tiffany glass in the ceiling. Many areas retain the look and feel of the old train station. If you are looking for super modern conveniences and everything perfect it is probably not for you. We had a problem... More
