We booked accomodation via the web prior to our trip to Flagstaff and intentionally selected these guys because of their fantastic Grand Canyon tours. We arrived from Las Vegas by Greyhound and rang them and were promptly picked up and taken to the hostel where we signed up for the sunset canyon tour. The next morning we all gathered around... I have been to many hostels throughout and this has to be the one I felt most at home. It was literally like going to your grandmother's house. It was so warm compared to the freezing January snow outside and the staff were like a family! Would recommend this to anyone visiting the Grand Canyon or just to see a... More

During my trips years ago, I had a chance to see a lot of youth hostels. This was one of the most welcoming, customer service oriented and cleanest I've seen. I had arrived from Las Vegas after a long overnight bus ride, and somebody from the hostel was waiting for me at the local Greyhound station to pick me up... More

I've been here twice now. Big kitchens, friendly staff, and, of course, all the great fellow travelers, which is the best feature of hostels. Located in the very hip area of Flagstaff on the edge of Northern Arizona University. The area is sort of a cross between Boulder and an uncrowded San Francisco - not to be missed!

I stayed here nearly 5 years ago now, but this hostel was really great. At the time I was travelling with my friend and we were only 19, and the staff here made us feel really welcome. The rooms are pretty simple with shared bathrooms, but it's all we needed. There is a communal kitchen and dining room, a TV... More

On the way to the Grand Canyon I stopped over in Flagstaff for a night and stayed at this hostel. The location is great as it's right on the main strip in town so it's walking distance from plenty of restaurants, pubs and shops. The room was a fairly standard hostel room - two bunk beds and a sink. The... More

I stayed in this hostel for a couple of nights during the winter of 2012 and found it comfortable enough, warm and a good place to interact with fellow-travellers, two of whom I drove to the Canyon with after the hostel-organised tour was under-booked to run. The kitchen was fine, breakfast adequate and beds and bathrooms ok. The free pick-up... More

I stayed in this hostel for 5 days in 2011 they offered free pick up from the Greyhound station, which is actually only 20 min walk away. It was really cold out with snow on the mountains but the rooms and hostel were always warm, I never felt cold and for me that's saying something. The rooms each have 4... More

My husband and daughters, 6 and 9 stayed here and we loved it. It was very inexpensive and located in the heart of old town Flagstaff, we could walk everywhere. The reception staff were friendly, informative and welcoming. We stayed in a dorm room to ourselves and the kids loved it. It was clean and basic. The bathrooms were shared,... More

Good place to stay only downfall is that the rooms don't have a place to lock up ur items but other than that great place to stay. This location is right near a lot I bars and near the historical business district. The location is also close to the interstate and the staff was very friendly and helpful
