Perfect location. Quiet yet you can walk to everything. Jan was so welcoming and had delicious recommendations for dinner Saturday evening. We've been to Newport MANY times, even got married here, but never stayed at the John Easton house until now. Glad we found it.

We spent three nights midweek with Jan at the John Easton House. The location is perfect for walking to the water or to the mansions, shopping on Bellevue Drive, the Tennis Hall of Fame, and restaurants. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Breakfast is served at 9:00 AM, so don't plan to get started on your day before 10:00... More

Passing through Newport, we chose the John Easton House to stay overnight. We had a very comfortable room and bed. Breakfast was very nice. And we enjoyed meeting and chatting with the other guests over breakfast. I would suggest that there be a parlor for guest to enjoy relaxing after a day of sightseeing rather than heading directly to their... More

I think you can read the other reviews and gain an understanding of the place, location, the incredible breakfast and Jan as your host. All very postive and would definately reccomend. What set our experience apart from some of the other reviews is we had an issue with our room. It was our first time away from our new babies,... More

This b & B could have used a common parlor. The only place to hang out was your bedroom. The home has been converted to apts. people rent.

Jan is very welcoming, while being quite efficient and business like. While the INN is not much to look at on the outside, the rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable. Jan makes a great breakfast and is very accommodating. The location in the Hill Section is very quiet and convenient. Walk to just about anything. We would stay again anytime.

i have never been tempted to go to a Bed & Breakfast, until my wife booked a trip to the John Easton House in Newport, RI. I have to say, I was impressed of the charm of that place. first, the owner, Jan, was extremely nice with us and you can tell she makes a lot of effort to make... More

So I use Trip Advisor all the time for my own research but have never written a review. This one I felt it was my duty to write since there are so many choices for B&B's in Newport. First of all, Jan is just a lovely host. Her breakfast were to die for and my husband and I are foodies... More

I stayed here only one night with my boyfriend. The house is quite charming, and it's in a great location (about a 10 minute walk away from the water). The TV was very small, but it did have cable. There was no internet, but perhaps that is expected of a B&B. The 24-hour tea is just lipton teabags, though there... More

I've stayed at the John Easton House before, and I've always had a wonderful experience. Jan is so pleasant and from the minute you walk through the door, she makes you feel so at home and welcome. The breakfast is delicious and leaves you wanting seconds! The location of the house is ideal also, as it is just a few... More
