“Great Location”

Hotel is position on Goat Island, Rhode Island. Entrance to the causeway to the island is where you will find the buses, tour buses etc. Hotel was very comfortable but feel its getting a bit tired & in need of an upgrade. Staff were very helpful and courteous.

We had a great time in Newport. Beautiful hotel. We did not like our initial room and was downgraded to a room that was spectacular. We enjoyed our quick overnight nice staff enjoyed the shuttle thanks Erik t our bellhop Trudy helped with dinner res and David nice driver room nothing special enjoyed recommendation to go to belles for outdoor breakfast must be nice location in summer valet convenient resort fee pricey did not have time to go to indoor pool

“Small rooms, comfy beds”

Weather was chilly so walk to town was windy and cold. Rooms were very small but beds comfortable. They said 2 double bedroom would accommodate 5 but would not give us a rollaway. This made no sense. It wouldn't have fit anyway. Location on water was beautiful and downstairs cocktail lounge and Starbucks coffee gets 2 thumbs up.

“Love the hyatt in newport”

Loved the hotel and its location and views. Got an upgrade from king/waterview to king waterview with balcony. Very comfortable beds and bathrooms. Loved the bar and its views outside. Took the Spring special which included mansion passes and drink coupons and included the resort fee, so that was a great deal for us! I would go back.

Loved everything about the hotel. Great service and very helpful and friendly staff. Hotel was clean and the food in the restaurant was very good. The location was perfect and walking distance to downtown. Really good.
