Me, my wife, mom and aunt stayed here the first week in May and had a wonderful time. Our room was an ocean view in the Ilima tower. We were on the top floor and had a wonderful view. The service for the most part was very good and most staff seemed to want to help you.
We did have...

My wife and I just stayed a week in the old tower in early May 2012. Although they consider this the old tower, it was actually renovated in 1995, which they say makes it “newer” than the new tower. The room was the only let down of the hotel. The furnishings such as the carpet, bedspread, and sheets were old...

This is an outstanding hotel because of its location in the heart of Waikiki and its value. We had an ocean view room in the highest floor with gorgeous views. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. The staff from the front desk to housekeeping and wait staff was great and provided an excellent service.
The food quality varied...

Being that this is a military hotel and my husband had a military business conference in Hawaii, we decided to try the Hale Koa. Here are the positives:
-The hotel has a prime location on Waikiki, near the convention center, and beautiful beachfront and park access.
-The pools and common areas are nice. Beautiful Banyan Tree on grounds.
-I loved...

This hotel was wonderful. The gardens connected to the hotel was amazing. Our son got married in April 2012 and the grooms pictures and the brides pictures were taken in the garden area. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. For more info on a destination wedding contact jarowe2739@gmail.com and I would be glad to share our experience. When we...

Excuse was that this was a special Mother's day brunch meaning the only thing different was no champagne and no rack of lamb. Pretty terrible...

Staying at the hale koa was the best decision we made. This place made our vacation. It has everything you need right there and everything is so beautiful. Knowing this now if I ever get to go back I wouldn't stay anywhere else.
We have stayed here several times over the years and this experience was quite good, but not flawless. We requested the Ilima Tower (the renovated one) and our room was not granted there, but in the older Maile Tower. The bellman suggested that we ask to move our room. We tried to stick it out in the Maile Tower but...

Oh my gosh. I heard this was a great place but I wasn't prepared for how great it really is. The the wide, sweeping, open reception area let you know you were in for something speical. The staff was outstanding! Our room was clean and a partial ocean view was just fine. Parking had in and out previliges (a bonus...
