I loved staying at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki. Excellent location and facilities, but above all the customer service is outstanding! I did not encounter one unhappy staff member. All staff I met - from the recpetion desk to cleaners and security - greeted me with a smile, wished me a good day and often struck up conversation with me. The... More

A great place to stay in the heart of everything. The room was a reasonable size and comfortable bed. We were on the 14th floor on the side of the building which allowed us to have views of the beach but if you could get onto higher floors you would see the mountains as well. Restaurant was nice for breakfast... More

This hotel has the worst staff. They told us we could do early check-in but after 5 hours of waiting around and wasting our vacation, we were only able to check in at the normal time. When I complained to them to say they could have told us this earlier so we could go to the beach, they shrugged it... More

Very good hotel, well positioned and reasonably priced. Good alfresco breakfast buffet and centrally located. Convenient for the trolley tours and right opposite the beach. Worth having an ocean view but expensive. Hawaii is a paradise and has to be seen.

Having been to Honolulu before I knew what Waikiki was like. The Hyatt was in the middle of the shopping and restaurants on the strip. We had a rent car and explored the island every day and would only be at the hotel only in the evening. I was not happy about the resort fee and the parking fee but... More

We stayed at the Hyatt for 10 nights for our honeymoon this May. Overall, the hotel was very nice, with great facilities and lovely staff. However, there were a few things we were disappointed with. We had booked a city view room but when we walked in there was no view, only some scaffolding and decking with lots of litter... More

My husband and I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Honolulu for three nights at the end of our five-week holiday in the US. We were very disappointed with the room and service. We booked a standard room and paid for an upgrade to an ocean view room with Regency Club access using points. This was confirmed by telephone prior to... More

Great hotel, excellent service. Loved the fact that we could get beach chairs for the beach complimentary at the pool, rather than have to pay $60/day for lounge chairs and an umbrella on the beach. Excellent location, clean hotel. However we were on the 31st floor and it did take quite a while for the elevators to go both up... More

I would agree with most of the comments. The hotel is located on the bustling main street of Waikiki and is almost like Las Vegas Blvd with all the traffic, people, and noise. I enjoyed it but if you like quiet, not the place for you. Check-in was speedy, efficient, and the clerk "Joe" was very nice and answered all... More
