There are only two reasons to stay in Honolulu or Waikiki: (a) you love horrible traffic, tourist traps and hordes of people; or (b) you are there for a conference and have no choice. We were on the 31st floor in an oceanfront room, which was dated and the bed wasn't great, but if you're in Honolulu to shop, you can't beat the location! I thought it was good value for money for what it was.

The hotel is located near a large shopping center and has a nice conference center. The hotel itself is just average. The bathroom was disappointing. The tub and sink counter caulk was discolored(?mold). Hotel front desk was unwilling to provide a courtesy check out of 1 hour delay. Price is good. Hotel restaurant is a bit pricey.

Stayed here for a couple of nights - great location as it is just across the Ala Moana Mall. Clean, comfortable, quiet. A little busy at the lobby reception with lots of tour groups lining up, but will definitely stay here again on my next trip to HNL.
