We needed a place to stay for a few nights while island hopping, we weren't going to be in the room at all so we did not want anything super pricy and nice. This hotel fit the bill. The bathroom felt dirty to me, I'm sure the cleaned it but it was very old and the mat on the floor... More

Aloha and thank you for staying with us! We appreciate that you spent your valuable vacation time here. I want to sincerely apologize for the chemical imbalance which forced us to close the pool from the afternoon of May 13th until mid day on the 15th. We closed the pool as a precaution. Once we reopened the pool, everything was... More

We booked this room after many hours of research, because one does not want to have a bad experience in paradise. The Good: 1. Within walking distance of the "International Marketplace", because that area of town has most of the action. 2. Protected beach right across the street, which is not only good to keep unwanted sea creatures out (read:... More

Aloha and thank you for taking the time to review your stay at our hotel. I certainly trust that your stay in paradise was memorable. I wanted to let you know that in my mind there are two types of fees: Resort fees (which often contain a few components and often are not a great value) and Amenity fees which... More

Not to bad. High turnover on the beach hotel . staff were all very frendly and helpful . as this is a high turnover hotel they seem to maintain the little things that make your'e stay the best that they can.

Aloha and thank you for your review! I appreciate your recognition of our business levels this year in Waikiki; we are extremely fortunate. I did want to point out, however, that we are lucky to have numerous repeat guests who visit us for one, two, three and four weeks at a time. They have become family (ohana) to us, and... More

Husband and I stayed here the last week in April. I was expecting a very average experience but found friendly staff, a lovely view (for a partial ocean it was grand), a happening bar with good food, and lots of Aloha atmosphere (they light torches and blow a conch shell at sunset.) The location was great, within walking distance to... More

Aloha and thank you for taking the time to review our hotel! We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay here. I wanted to mention that the beach noursihment project is completed and all beaches are open! We stayed 6 nights;location is perfect for walking to most everything . Service was excellent! Rooms were smaller than they appear on website, but comfortable. Fantastic ocean view! Breakfast is free, but super crowded. Be sure your room is away from elevators! Very noisy. Tikis Bar/Grill is awesome! We would certainly stay again( away from elevators!Ha!)

Excellent location, on the edge of Waikiki but away from the madness. Great room and well decorated although bathroom is tiny. Free breakfast is ok but we preferred to eat outside. All the staff were friendly and the restaurant and bar was good for lunch with its fab views. Yes we would come back.

Aloha and thank you for staying with us! We look forward to your return in the near future. The nice thing about Breakfast on the Beach is that it comes with the sale of every guestroom. We do our best to be consistent and provide a little taste of the island culture (flavored coffees, yogurts and even pastries like banana... More

Stayed at the Aston Waikiki 5 nights in Apr/12. Had an oceanfront room so had a fantastic view of Waikiki Beach. Each room comes with a big plastic lunch bag so if you have breakfast included with your room (not sure but maybe all guests get breakfast) you go down to main floor off lobby in the morning and fill... Read all the reviews on tripadvisor but decided aston waikiki beach hotel suited our needs and budget and we were sooooooo right. The location is perfect walking distance to everything but not right in the midst of all the hotels. We have nothing to complain about we had a ocean front room which was great, sat there everynight had drinks... More

Aloha and thank you for a great review. We agree that our location, on the quieter side of Waikiki, is wonderful. The views are pristine and everyone seems to enjoy the proximity of the park and Diamond Head. We look forward to your return! Mark Demello General Manager More

I just returned from a weeks stay at this hotel. We were pleased with all aspects of our stay, except for the obvious lack of recycling. Overfilled garbage bins stuffed with garbage and many many empty water bottles disgusted me. The staff seemed plentiful, why not instead of an elevator assistant, create a position to collect recycling, take the bottles... More
