I stayed at the Ramada Plaza Waikiki the first time I went to Honolulu. I was needing to be budget minded, so picked a higher-ranked 2-3 star hotel. The Ramada's location is a plus. It is in the quieter western park of Waikiki and right across the street is the Hilton Hawaiian Village. There were plenty of restaurants and stores... More

We were helped by a concierge her name is Pamela T she really so good. She can give the best plan with good companies for attractions and packages for everything. She made our honeymoon the best.

I came to town for a conference at the Hawaii Conference Center. The rest of my group stayed at the Hilton across the street. I got the better stay! The rooms were just right, good internet, clean, and very generous on towels, soap, etc. so we never ran out. The refrigerator was medium sized (although older in model), it allowed... More

Needs updating, but perfect location. Who goes to hawaii to stay in the room? The rooms also need updating, but it was clean and functional. It could be home to the japanese airlines.... and the help could be nicer.. so go pay $400-500/night to be on the beach and get the same. Overall, the best value for the money.. you... More

We really appreciate you responding and giving us a "heads" up about our property. I know it does seem like we have a lot of Foreign visitors - but they are actually airline crew from Japan Airlines, China Airlines and China Eastern Airlines. The crew makes up about 30% of our visitors and we are very happy to be their... More

Clean room, close to bus station, quiet, good internet connection. Here, one can have privacy. Small room but ok. Room was better than I expected. Everything was ok almost. If only staff at the reception could be a little bit more friendly and accommodating, it would have been better. Maybe, they were tired or just serious in their jobs. Especially... More

Thanks for your review...we all loved looking at your pictures especially what looked like a wedding dress and hakulei? Did you get married in Hawaii? If you did, I wish we would have known and given you some special treatment. I'm sorry the front desk person was a little grumpy - time for some retraining and thanks to you we... More

Decent hotel in a great location. Right across the street was the Hilton, that has a nice beach, many stores and restaurants open to the public. We could walk to many restaurants, shops and to the beach. Convenient parking lot under a fair surchage. Would stay there again. The hotel´s restaurant was not great because its target seemed to be... More

The photos of the property, including rooms, made it seem nicer and more spacious than it was. The room was small, mildew smelling, and bathroom was not the cleanest. When we arrived in our room, we discovered a letter stating there would be emergency water shut down that night. There were two bottles of water in our room to "compensate"... More

We stayed here for our holiday in March 2012 and found the rooms to be clean and tidy. The location was great as it was a short walk to the beach and also Ala Moana Shopping Centre. The hotel has gym, pool and swimming pool facilities also which were good. The thing that we loved was the King size bed... More

Aloha! I'm glad you enjoyed your King bed. All our beds are fairly new and we made sure to purchase top quality mattresses and boxsprings for your enjoyment. They are Serta Presidential Plush and are sure to make you want to stay in bed just a little longer. But, remember, you are here to enjoy all Hawaii has to offer,... More

This was our first time in Hawaii and we started our trip here. The Hotel was very clean. The staff were very friendly, polite and very helpful in recommending a place for dinner. The rooms were very clean. The location was good also, a lot of things were within walking distance.

I returned to this hotel in February (2012), this time with my sister (who had never stayed their before so i was interested to see what she thought of the Ramada). The Jnr suites had been renovated some more, and thankfully the road was quieter (the metal sheets had moved further down Ala Moana). Check In- took 10 minutes, which... More
