We stayed here for 5 nights. We are seniors and all we want is a clean place to sleep and prepare meals and the Waikiki Prince is perfectly adequate for us. There is no pool, minibar or pay preview TV. Instead you get an excellent price for a clean room, with kitchenette in a very good location. The room we... More

Not the Hyatt, but a great find for the location and price. Decor is 1960s style but in working condition. Rooms are clean. They have A/C but you really don't need it with the Hawaiian breeze. Staff was very nice. They have towels, balls, etc at the front desk. Book early, this place fills up fast due to the low... More

We are a middle aged couple, quite well traveled, and we normally chose budget hotels. Priority number one is cleanliness and my wife always checks for ants and bugs. Waikiki Prince is a well cleaned place. We stayed here for a couple of nights starting off our Oahu trip. And we voluntarily returned at the end of the trip too.... More

If you want to use the hotel to sleep, shower and fix yourself your own quick meals (toast, cereal w/ milk, heat-and-eat meals), and if you don't mind the place looking dated and a little shabby but clean, then this is an excellent budget option. We stayed a weekend in Feb '12. Ashley the resident manager is very helpful and... More

This is an excellent place for a very inexpensive price. Our room was on the top floor, We never slept in always walked to one of the inexpensive restaurants within one block. We were one block from the ocean with beautiful sand beaches and nice sailboat ride. The girl downstairs was always helpful. Although it has the potential to be... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 8 days in January 2012 and it was great! Awesome location, you are 3 minutes from the beach and right in the middle of Waikiki near the Duke statue. The rooms were a bit dated, but clean. We had a couple of bugs in our room but the balcony door was left open... More

have always loved staying here but since last yr a car and motorcycle rental has opened. Too noisy if you want to sleep in. Also late nite. Had loud dumpster empting at Hotel across street. Other than that, everything still great. Cheap and close to the beach. Have already made reservations for next yr

For the price you can't beat it in Waikiki. It's not a super luxurious place, but it's a place to rest your head at the end of a busy day. I wouldn't say it was "spotless" but for an older place it's not bad. I wanted to spend money on experiences this trip rather than an expensive hotel. It's within... More

There are a lot of good reviews about this hotel and it's value. I agree with some of the comments such as great location and staff. The girl at the front desk was exceptionally nice and made my stay enjoyable. What a difference staff makes (if only more accommodations would pay attention to this!). It is only a block away... I have stayed at the waikiki prince hotel on at least 6 diffrent vacations. the rooms are very clean with lots of fresh air. Ashley and Jenna are very nice and friendly and very helpful. I would not even think of staying in a diffrent hotel. The location is right in the center of Waikiki. lots and lots of resturants... More
