i have stayed at the garfield multiple times;;my experiences have all been very good;;the hotel is older but my rooms have always been clean; the staff is always friendly the location is great for concerts and downtown activities i have recommended it to friends and their experiences have also been good;; i will definitly be a return customer

Pros: location is convenient for downtown activities, and front desk was very helpful and friendly. Cons : rooms are completely dated from the furniture to decor and appliances. The chandelier had inch of dust on it. The wallpaper was pealing and dirty. Bathroom floor was dirty and you had to also pay to park.

Huge suites with kitchen, living room, dining area, balcony and separate bedrooms. A bit dated but very clean. Several laundry rooms and on site gym. Area was a bit sketchy at night.
