We were only in Yellowstone for 2 days, so wanted it to be special, and rented two nights INSIDE the SnowLodge. There are outside cabins, but I'm glad we weren't there as it got muddy with the rain and snow this last week of May 2012. The rooms are pricy and have to be booked through Xanterra for the Park... Clean, friendly and a great location are the selling points here. Rooms are sparse but serviceable. Walls are thin so expect noise from fellow travelers especially those with children. No television or radio, but that is not why you visit the park. Food was better than expected. Would recommend for those staying in the park.

My wife and I stayed here for a night while visiting Yellowstone National Park. We found the lodge to be very comfortable and clean during our visit. We enjoyed the lobby area with all of the wood and found the staff to be be nice. The decor of the lodge makes people feel that this lodge has been been around... More

Face it. Any place in the Park will have some limitations in amenities, but this was well compensated for by the staff who were almost too cheerful and helpful. Everything is run efficiently and the room was comfortable. Didn't miss a TV as we did not come to Yellowstone to watch the tube. Despite a large number of guests including... More

We had just 3 nights here on our first visit to Yellowstone. The location in the middle of all the geothermal activity was fantastic. It was wonderful just to wander across to see Old Faithful, which we watched a number of different times of the day! The room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. The ladies on reception were very... More

No tvs in the rooms and plenty of seating to read, chat, or sit by the fireplace. Steps from old faithful (which we saw this evening) under a raising moon with coyotes howling. Life doesn't get much better.

We found this to be an excellent lodge with hotel-like standards that are missing at other lodgings in Yellowstone. On arrival, the reception staff were excellent, providing the sort of detailed tourist information in a few minutes that it would have taken us hours to find elsewhere. The rooms are very comfortable and nicely decorated, although there was some traffic... More

This relatively new hotel, just a short walk from Old Faithful geyser, continues the architectural theme of Old Faithful Inn (which isn't open during the winter). It is very tastefully done, with abundant use of natural wood and fixtures to replicate those used in the historic hotels. As expected, rooms are fairly simple in design, and lack many customary hotel... More

The Snow Lodge is a beautiful lodge with gorgeous, clean rooms. Probably one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. And the best part was being able to walk across the parking lot to watch Old Faithful explode in the moonlight. The crowds were gone and we could even hear the water spouting out. A wonderful experience to share... More

We were disappointed in the room, it was about a super 8 quality at a Ritz Carlton price tag. Worse, after paying an arm and leg, you had to fork over another $12 a day for internet. Not what I'd expect for the price. One of our group slipped on the amply iced entry and fell, fortunately not injured but... More

Thank you for providing feedback on your stay at the Old Faithful Snowlodge. We use feedback like yours to assist us with improving guest satisfaction. I was disappointed to read about your thoughts regarding room rates at the lodge. Every year we work with the National Park Service to ensure that rates are comparable to other facilities in the area,... More
