The amazing Old Faithful Inn was a hard act to follow, but the Cascade Lodge was a suitable second act for us in Yellowstone during our June 2011 trip. You just can’t beat the Canyon area’s central location in regards to the entire park. Right off the bat, you’re happy to be assigned to Cascade/Dunraven once you realize you’re not... More

Opting to stay in one place for all 10 days of our Yellowstone trip was a considered decision....we wanted centrality of location, comfort, atmosphere, and the usual cleanliness, quiet, and efficiency. Though price was of some concern, we chose a Canyon Village lodge (instead of the cheaper cabins) to find all of the above, and we weren't disappointed. Room #109's... More

We stayed in the Cascade lodge for three nights from sept 6th through the 8th and found it to be a very pleasant surprise given all the old cabins we had to pass to get there. This is the ideal accommodation for folks who want to see a lot of Yellowstone without the need to rough it. Consider it to... More

Very friendly and professional check in. As others have said, you check in at a building in the main village area, and have to drive back to the lodges. Our check in clerk enjoyed bantering with my husband, and his relentless requests to see Yogi, Mr. Ranger and BooBoo. "This is Yellowstone, not Jellystone." "Yogi's union and off duty now"... More

I was SO pleasantly surprised by our stay at the Cascade Lodge in Yellowstone! We stayed 2 nights in late June. We were in a double room and found it plenty spacious, both room and bathroom. The room was very clean, and furnishings, bedding and linens were great. We loved the conservation Moose that was left on our bed; of... More

We stayed here for two nights in mid-July. I thought I had booked us in a cabin but had actually booked Cascade Lodge instead. We stayed on the first floor, which was convenient, but we did have some loud people staying above us and could hear their stomping across the floor. I'd ask for a second floor room next time.... Cascade and Dunraven lodges are next to each other. We stayed in Cascade, Dunraven is a bit nicer as it has an elevator and sitting room. The two lodges are set among the cabins, so there are no services at the lodges. You can call a shuttle for a ride to the village area which includes check in, gift shops,... More

The Cascade lodge is in a great location and very clean. The only problem I had was that the walls are paper thin. You could hear everything your neighbors had to say.

The check in was fine, the actual room was in a building a short drive from the main lodge. There is no elevator and the ice machine on our level was not working. The hallways were well lit and I felt safe in the hotel. The room was small and the beds felt very small. There is no air conditioning... More

We stayed in Cascade Lodge for 4 nights. The room was very clean, we were in a corner room on the 2nd floor and had no issues with noise. We could even hear the babbling stream outside. The room had a Keurig coffee maker, and a hair dryer. If you are driving, I would recommend bring some extra pillows. The... More
