I think this hotel had best view of all three in the area of the geyser. Stayed in cabins which were ok , very small and old . Not as nice as lake lodge cabins. Room warm and clean though which was the main thing as just need it to sleep. Food in this lodge is very average , even... More

This was the ideal location for us to see the park! Old faithful was steps from our door. The lodge cabins give you parking right outside your door which we appreciated. The room was small but clean. You could hear neighboring rooms when their bathroom fan went on but we slept well. The staff was helpful. We had dinner reservations... More

This is all about the location and the historic experience rather than the amenities. I had a basic cabin which had a bed, vintage basin, heater, desk and chair. I had not realised before I arrived that the cabins are made up of a number of separate buildings with toilet blocks like on a campsite. I think that was just... More

After a terrible previous night in Lake lodge cabins, this lodge (aka shed) came as a pleasant surprise. Warmer, roomier and brighter, the main problem was that it had no ensuite bathroom. It was all that was left because we booked late, but had I known how below-freezing cold it would be to visit the lavatory block in the middle... More

Great location, nice front office staff, basic but ok cabins and outside bathroom was clean and heated. Only disappointment was the 'restaurant' that was honesty the case all around Yellowstone. Probably because of lacking competition, still disappointing not being able to get fresh/tasty food while being in a national park.

We were traveling with our dog and were able to reserve (months ago) a cabin at Yellowstone Old Faithful Lodge. The only cabins available were those without bathrooms. This really wasn't a big deal to us. The cabins are very, very clean and have a sink. Wonderful place to stay in Yellowstone. The cabins are right near Old Faithful so... More

The choice to stay here was a total compromise. We could have stayed in West Yellowstone another night in a 2 bedroom unit for about the same price, but I wanted to be at Old Faithful for sunrise, and wow, did that pay off. It was a gorgeous walk around the Old Faithful basin at sunrise. We saw Old Faithful... More

We stayed for one night in a cabin at OF Lodge when travelling as a couple last September. Bed was a Q + single. Location is awesome, we were lucky enough to look out onto OF from the cabin window (very early booking). Cabin was basic but clean and comfortable. Two downsides though: tiny bathroom, barely big enough to turn... More

This is very basic accommodation, smallish beds, no TV or internet, but the location is simply magical and more than makes up for it - and who comes to Yellowstone to watch TV. Not all lodges have bathrooms, so it is worth clarifying at the time of booking if this is important to you. We ate both nights in the... More

This was my first trip and my husbands second. he had stayed previously at the Lake Lodge cabins and was horribly disappointed in the condition of the cabin so chose Old Faithfuls cabins for us. we had a double and twin bed, desk and chair and bathroom with shower and toilet. The sink is in the same room as the... More
