I've never experienced such a combination of unique natural beauty, extraordinary and diverse wildlife, friendly service and comfortable luxury anywhere I've traveled. And I won't likely again - until I travel back to Loisaba!

A group of 8 of us just spent 10 spectacular days at Loisaba. It was the experience of a lifetime. The service was perfect. The food makes my mouth water even now. The lodging was luxurious and rustic at once. We spent our days on early morning game drives, horseback riding along side zebras and giraffes, on quads exploring the... More

If you want roughing it, move on. If you want the ultimate in high level service, attention, food, furnishings and comfort, Loisaba House is it. Plus the view from the infinity pool down into the plateau and valley is an image I'll keep with me the rest of my life. The staff is wonderful, anticipating every need without being intrusive.... The scenery at Loisaba is spectacular, and there is plenty of wildlife. We did two very successful game drives on the property, but stayed at a neighboring ranch, Kamogi. This is not a national park with lots of tourists, but a real wilderness experience, where it is just you and the wildlife. I really appreciated that. The manager, Tom, and... More

On our recent trip to Africa, we visited 3 distinct camps/lodges. Loisaba was one of them. We had a terrific experience at Loisaba. To start off, Loisaba is not the Mara. There are not prides lions and hippos every five feet. There is plenty of wildlife, but you are not going to see the migration. It is OK, because the... More

The rooms and views are fantastic, of course the star beds are a unique experience. I found the highlight of Loisaba to be a host of included activities that were not available in the Masaai Mara. The manager and staff are fantastic and we really enjoyed our stay here. I should also note that the Reticulated Giraffe and Grevy's Zebra... More

The location is amazing because of its isolation and spectacular, unadultered, and breathtaking views. Of course, the price to pay for the sights and peace of being disconnected is a long, bumpy jeep ride. Also accessible by small (read: capacity for a dozen) aircraft. WORTH IT. Great wildlife safaris and the crack of dawn walk to breakfast by the river... More

What do I love about Loisaba? Everything!! From the moment we drove up to the entrance of the lodge, I knew I was in for a treat! Kirsty, Loisaba's camp manager, made me feel right at home with her wide smile and her sincere welcome. She is not one of these camp managers who disappears once the guests are checked... More

Our family of four has recently returned from Safari in Kenya and we cannot stop talking about this amazing land, the beautiful people, the spectacular scenery, magnificent hosts and lifelong memories that we now all share. Loisaba was our first destination of three and the most amazing setting. Perched on top of an escarpment with African plains stretching as far... More
