Golden Rock Hotel is about a quarter of the way up from the bus station to the Rock. Pros Generally clean OK hotel with comfortable bed and no major problems. Friendly staff. Cons No coffee in room. Dinner relatively expensive but then little choice within easy reach.

You would be better off at the hotel at the top (Mountain Top?). Golden Rock is drab, bad food, mediocre service. Only thing going for it is the location.
