Great place with a nice atmosphere. Large menu but not much on it that i would personally choose to eat so was a bit limited. Food and drink service was very good and our meal arrived quickly but was fairly mediocre. Would return but next time for a drink not a meal.

Our room (18) was lovely with extra large bed, comfortable seating area and good position overlooking the field at the rear of the hotel. Evening meal was full of choice ( too much to decide) and very generous portions do don't go for a starter if you would like to live for the dessert! We would come again!

Lovely atmosphere, huge varied menu, friendly articulate staff. Book to avoid disappointment as people seem to travel miles to eat and drink here!

We went back to the Tempest Arms in April and stayed in Room 13 again. Everything was as we expected the room was lovely and we had a wonderful meal in the resteraunt. We were not dissapointed and we will return in the near future. Highly recommend this hotel, nothing seems too much trouble.

Excellent standard of accommodation for the price. Good food and huge portions. Great place to stay for business and would be great for a weekend break. Very friendly staff. The only criticism is the wifi that can be patchy at times.

The Tempest has loads of good reviews but it deserves them. Homely and unpretentious, with a warm welcome. The rooms are good with everything you need, and a quick heater for these freezing British summer weekends!
