I went to the Sofitel last April, and in general, I liked my stay. The staff was kind, helpful and always smiling. Check-in went fast, luggage was delivered to the room directly after check in and the room was very spacious with a semi ocean view. First appearances we were impressed and the rooms and service continued to deliver above expectations. As with all resorts the cost of dinning was a little ridiculous at times with water for the table being bottled only and well above an acceptable rate. The main hotel public rooms were large and cool with mood views over the pool. And gardens. Beach was not brilliant. Sand felt oily and the sea wasn't crystal clear. The a la carte restaurant was fabulous. Sumptuously furnished and quiet unassuming service was first class. Terrific menu and wine list. Good business centre and cocktail bar. Premier class bedrooms.
