Our hosts, Lyn and Murray, made us feel at home in this eight room guest house. The nightly pre-dinner drinks offered guests the opportunity to sample some typical Kiwi foods and regional wines and to get to know one another. The rooms are comfortable and well furnished with direct access to a terrace overlooking the well planned garden. The freshly... More

If Wanaka is on your way to Queenstown not only are you going to be fortunate to see the largest and most beautiful lakes in New Zealand but also the chance to stop off in lovely Wanaka. It's difficult to categorise as it is less busy and buzzy than Queenstown but not as sleepy as some small towns we visited.... More

As a tourist you expect things to be different from touring at home, and you travel to enjoy the difference. We stayed at several B&Bs in our travels through teh south island and enjoyed every one. However, what Geraldine and I got at Wanake Springs Resortwas a lot more than that - Lyn and Murray made us feel right at... More

Everything was superb. Lynn and Murray are lovely people and as hosts make sure you are welcome. If you are near Wanaka then make sure you stay here. I Site directed us to here after we arrived in Wanaka without anywhere pre booked on a festival day. We were truly glad to have such a wonderful place to stay. Pity... More

Don't get me wrong, Wanaka Springs Lodge is not the only place we visit. However both my husband and I are both of the opinion that it has to be the BEST place we have ever stayed. We have been coming back time and time again and never get sick of it.The lodge itself is comfort and style to the... More

Sharon - what can we say - you and Tony are just great, and we love having you stay. Thanks for bringing Trish along this time and giving us the chance to enjoy her company. Lyn and I really appreciate your kind comments and hope we get to see you many more times in Wanaka. Cheers, Murray. More

My husband and I were greeted so warmly, assisted with our luggage, given a tour of the house and introduced to other guests over pre dinner drinks.......WOW! What a perfect start to a wonderful four days in Wanaka. The... More

We had a great couple of nights at Wanaka Springs, Lynn and Murray were fantastic hosts, a great New Zealand couple, with a deep knowledge of their heritage. We were treated to home cooked cakes, great conversation, and hospitality. We were provided with plenty of information on the area. We really loved Wanaka, it is truly beautiful, plenty to do,... Lynn and Murray are the perfect hosts, from the minute we stepped into their home we were made so very welcome. Breakfasts were superb and such a socialable affair.
