We had booked a Premier room but our party of 6 were upgraded to the penthouse. It added so much to our trip. The views over the lake were stunning and the sunsets to be experinced. Everything was laid on - all the amenities were of top class. A real highlight.

A must stay. Understated quality, quiet, nothing too much trouble, flexible to individual needs, run subtly by experienced locals, housekeeping excellent. If feels like home quickly. Stay a day or two at least. Be prepared to be tempted to extend.

We planned on staying one night in Wanaka, but after arriving at the Lakeside we had to stay another day. We could have stayed another year. The apartments are well appointed and comfortable. We walked in off the street and were given a great price (better if you can stay for more than one night). The apartment was lovely with a great view over the lake. Big enough to raise a family in! Each apartment came with undercover parking. I can absolutely recommend a stay in this accommodation.

What a surprise! Much,much better than the website suggests.Classy accommodation with all mod cons. Slight issue with night time noise - which is probably worse in the height of the season - we did obtain a reduction becuase of this. Clever accommodation. Apartments sleep 8.
