If you're looking for nice bungalows, beachbar, amazing view, then this is the place to be. Rastafary vibe, hours of walks on the beach........ Owner is Alli Keys rent also cars and scooters, we rented a car from him, everything with is 'polé polé', no stress at all.

People probably come to Matemwe, because of its access to snorkelling off Muemba Island. This is probably why the place charges more (for what you get) compared to other bungalows around the coast. The bungalow was ok, the restaurant was satisfactory but with a limited range and not particularly inspiring.
