Ok, so this is one of the best places I've stayed during my two months in Africa. The grounds are immaculately maintained. There's lots of different room choices, and it's they're cheapest you'll find in Paje. The food is excellent!! The owner is very friendly, and takes a lot pride in this place. They'll help you set up diving, kiting,... More

I stayed just 1 night and thankfully moved across the street to a hotel on the beach. The bar is friendly enough but the rooms are pretty grotty with dirty shared bathrooms used by rooms, staff and bar customers. The accommodation consists of basic dorm rooms with sand floors or some very small basic wooden rooms without bathroom. All a... More

We stayed a night in an other lodge but had lunch here. The people and dood are great. The landlady helpt us to get a taxi to the airport. I might be to old for backpacking. But it seems to me the best place to stay when you are!!

I stayed with my friends at a hotel just across from Demani Lodge, will not recommend that one, but I will definitely recommend Demani! We came here to eat almost every night. The food is the best I have tasted, especially if you have a passion for seafood, this is the place! The staff here is very welcoming and friendly... More

At first I was a bit sceptical against demani. Shared bathroom and sandy floors? However my friend convinced me that this was the right place for us. We booked a bandana for two for 9 nights (we got one with a concrete floor.) Immediately when we got to demani it felt like home. We recived a worm welcoming from the... More

As three students studying and traveling in Zanzibar, this was just about the most perfect place to stay on the island. The staff picked us up from where we had been dropped up in the center of town and drove us to the lodge. We were able to obtain a very comfortable hostel-style room for a very low cost. The... More

We are a group of friends who spent two weeks enjoying a fantastic holiday at Demani Lodge. We originally planned to go to Kendwa after a week, but the wonderful staff, food, service and surroundings at Demani Lodge made us rethink our plans, and we stayed there the whole two weeks instead. And not to mention the great party they... More
